    • I love your narcolepsy bunny and have one of my own, but I'd love to see either a rework or a second release with a focus on Narcolepsy type 1 [with Cataplexy] and more bits and bobs referencing the various other symptoms aside from excessive daily sleepiness!! I VERY rarely find anything like what y'all make for narcolepsy or other sleep disorders and would love to see more.
Cataplexy is a sudden weakness/attack of weakness in various parts of the body triggered by intense emotion (good or bad, laughing too hard or crying too hard, etc) and can result in anything from a single area going numb or drooping (face drooping, knees buckling slightly, head drooping) to a full-blown body collapse leaving you on the floor. Maybe there could be something more to indicate the debilitating physical weakness that often comes with narcolepsy and that excessive sleepiness (with or without cataplexy)? I'd love to see something else done with the ears design-wise; perhaps they could be weighted and puffed out to simulate that heavy force of exhaustion dragging you down, plus they could then be used as a "pillow" behind the head of your sleepy bun!
Another big part of narcolepsy is hypnogogic and hypnopompic hallucinations, which are different from other forms of hallucination since they only occur when falling asleep/waking up because your brain drops into REM sleep too fast before your body can catch up. I think the sleepy eyes are perfect how they're stitched, but perhaps there could be some flair around the eyes to indicate that state of being "trapped in the veil" and unsure if you're awake or dreaming. Little stars or swirls maybe?
There are all sorts of other lesser-known symptoms like issues regulating body temp leading to being very cold, memory and recall problems, intense vivid nightmares, slurred speech during an attack, a weakened immune system, strange GI issues, emotional blunting/shutdown, frequent headaches/migraines, and more that could be drawn from for design inspiration!
Options for holdable bun accessories (similar to Build a Bear's accessories that your plush can "hold" via an elastic band or maybe velcro) like a cane, knee pads, a pillow, a medication bottle, etc. could be a way to represent some of these concepts without having to design it directly into the bunny, plus others could certainly use them for their own buns~

    • I would love to get that for my best friend that has the condition.

    • Worry eater plush. It has a zipper mouth and an empty tummy. You write down your worries and feed them to them.

    • I agree with Cleo. A bunny that represents suicide awareness would be great. I personally experience someone close to me. Thankfully that person is still here today. Maybe a purple and turquoise bunny with the semicolon coming out of the pouch and being able to pin them to yourself? Or, putting the semicolon in the eyes?

    • This. I love both of those ideas. I know SI is a heavy topic but it would be nice to have a little friend that understands.
