    • Okay, so I have been a social worker for parents who've struggled to get their kids back from CPS (DCFS) or have signed away their kids during a hard time never to get them back. I have helped addicts without kids that can't keep from self destructing right before the finish line. SELF INDUCED TRAUMA needs to be done, please. It could be a bunny removing it's own heart and handing it to you. Please?

    • Maybe like an ADD (attention deficit disorder) rabbit, since it's considered adhd but it's not really the same thing and it'd be nice to have a separate bunny for separate symptoms o^o

    • I have Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease and have met quite a few others with it. It'd be cool to have a bunny represent that.

-A regular bunny would be fine but I was thinking maybe a cat instead since I've more associated that animal with throwing up a lot due to either stuffing themselves too much with food or cuz of hairballs
-A lighter, pale purple color with dark purple splotches on it to represent having thrown up
-purple because apparently a "rainbow purple" is what represents GERD
-Facial expression would be frowning with a little bit of yellow bile hanging off the lip, maybe?

    • Traumatic brain injury (TBI)
My Dad got into an accident when I was in high school in a rotatory in our town. The box truck didn’t yield and hit my dad. He was on his motorcycle with no helmet on. He went 10ft in the air and landed right on his head. The doctors all said it was a miracle that he survived. That didn’t end up getting him. The Cancer in the end took him. He lived in for 7 more years to Cancer took him away in July. He fought and ended up surviving that accident but he was never really the same. Then Cancer came he fought as much as he could but cause of his brain injury it made him even more confused whenever he did his chemo and radiation. It was bad to the point he almost set himself on fire thinking his foot was a cigarette. I’d love to have a TBI rabbit to commemorate him.

My name is Sam and I live in Aotearoa- New Zealand. I was diagnosed with Spinocerebellar ataxia. This is an inherited, progressive, neurological disorder which means I will eventually loose the ability to walk, have trouble talking, swallowing. I could go on. SCA is very rare but the type I have (42) is EXTREMELY rare- prevalence 1 in a million. I was diagnosed at 29 and am now 32… I am still grief stricken. I have a 4 year old autistic son who may also have SCA (can’t test till 18)
To have SCA represented as a plushie dreadful would mean so much to me and my other family members who have the condition. I have a rough idea of what they would look like.
All I know is a cat would be the preferred animal and it would need to have a walking aide. (Or multiple as the disability is dynamic) some use walking frames, crutches, canes, wheelchairs) some days we don’t need anything. Colour would be blue and a hummingbird on its tummy would be great (blue is the ataxia awareness colour and hummingbird is the international symbol for rare disorders) wearing glasses would be cool as well as I know many ataxia s have eye troubles. Also, a badge that says "I’m not drunk, I have ataxia" would be great! People often mistake us for being drunk as we stumble and slur…
      Anyway, those are my ideas.
I’m sure lots of people have suggestions but, I am hoping this one gets considered!
      Thanks for your time.

      Happy Holidays 💙🩵
