People generally associate Tourette’s Syndrome with Tics, most often verbal tics/outbursts…but those aren’t necessarily the most common. Eye blinking, hand movements, neck movements…sometimes they are often subtle, and build up during periods of stress, fatigue, etc. It is also often a comorbidity with other forms of neurodivergence such as autism.

May this little buddy be with you in times of stress!
The tummy symbol features a combination of opposing elements to represent the stress of holding tics in. Lightning bolt motifs for neurological misfires and "stress tears" on the face.
Note: The facial expression is representative of the tics of the designer of this plush, and may not represent all forms of Tourette's.

IMPORTANT NOTE Regarding the design of our mental health-related Plushie Dreadfuls. We take the topics of mental health and mental health awareness seriously. That's why our design team only creates plushies related to mental health issues with which they have direct experience. In cases where our team does not have direct experience, we assemble an external team of experts to help guide our creative process. In addition, we use Crowd Design to engage a wide range of voices via platforms like Instagram and Facebook. We gather and respond to feedback from our audience - many of whom have direct experience with the mental health issues we're exploring. And while we strive to represent as many aspects of a particular mental health issue as possible while avoiding stereotypical symptoms, we hope you understand that plush toys as an artistic medium do limit the full expression of a particular issue to those things that can be crafted in fabric and stitching.

BDay Present

Got this as a bday present from my loving boyfriend. Could not be more happy; I have tourrettes and wanted this doll in particular, though they are all very cute. The plush is super cute and soft and the bag is very nice as well! I love American McGee and this brand and am very pleased with what I received!

HE'S SO CUTE AND GARFUNKLE

I LOVE THIS BUN SO MUCH!!!!! They are my first plushie dreadfuls, i have another on the way, but he is the first to have arrived and after countless hours of looking at the other buns and browsing the website eager for his arrival, i can say without doubt money well spent. he is a tad smaller than expected, but i have heard many people say this bun is just naturally smaller than most of the other buns so im not too worried. one thing that stuck out to me in almost every persons review of the plushies from this company was people saying they are the softest plushies they have ever had. and id like to say before i continue, people have also stated this bun isnt as soft as many of the other buns so keep that in mind. even with that in mind he's incredibly soft. i have felt this type of softness before, but rarely on a plushie. you can truly tell these are mad with GOOD GOOD quality fabric, just by pushing the fur the wrong direction, and not seeing those little holes of fur gaps in the fur that most plushies have. i love this bunny so much and as someone with tics, ive already found that in the few hours ive had him, he really seems to understand and get it. it feels like he truly feels and understands the internal stress of tics or tourette's and how it feels to experience them and try to outwardly appear as though they arent there for sake of not wanting to be judged by others. i love him sm. i named him "biscuits" cause i had a tic a few years back where id say biscuits a lot…
