The S in Scoliosis Stands for Spectacular!
I've had scoliosis for nearly my entire life (diagnosed when I was 4) and just knew I needed this plushie once I saw it! The slight lopsided look of it is so perfect and so familiar for me. Reminds me of when I stood that way, and so my hairdresser had to cut one side of my hair shorter than the other to make it look "even!" Needless to say, I would've loved a plushie like this to cuddle up to as a kid—especially while I was being surgically treated for my condition. Can't imagine how many little technical aspects go into making a plush appear purposefully "uneven," but the hard work shows in more than just the skilled embroidery of the ribcage (which is metal af btw, I love that detail too). The plushie dreadfuls team is doing a good thing, making these bun buns! Thank you for the awareness you bring with each one <3
