I Feel Seen
I dealt with the extremely isolating trauma that is limerence for two years--and it left trauma and nightmares that lasted for more than ten after that. Wasn't until I learned that there was a name for this insidious, isolating addiction that I could finally talk about it--and lo and behold, PD releases the limerence rabbit shortly after! I jumped on the mailing list so fast.
I adore mine, I named her Ashley. The imagery is spot on and I love seeing this surprisingly common yet barely discussed phenomenon being represented. Her fur is extremely soft and I love the detail of the tail being heart shaped. I love the tote bag she came with and I use it every chance I get--the material is strong but soft, and the colors are very bright. I like to pretend she's limerent for my ASPD rabbit I ordered at the same time.
Personally, I would've made the ears detachable like someone on tiktok suggested as limerence can make you very willingly to change yourself if you think it'll make your LO like you. But, this is a nitpick. I love my PD and I will definitely be buying another at some point!
As a side note, limerence is terrible and I wish it on nobody--i have C-PTSD and DID, and I don't even wish this torturous affliction on my abusers. My heart aches (quite literally!) For any other limerents out there. You are not alone.
