A seizure is a short change in normal brain activity, and a person is diagnosed with epilepsy when they have had two or more seizures that are not associated exclusively with another medical condition (such as low blood sugar or medication withdrawal). Seizures in patients with epilepsy can also be triggered by these issues, but they are not the sole cause.

While it’s impossible to cover every type of seizure in the form of a single rabbit, we tried to capture a feeling of your brain misfiring, a symbol representing the neurons on the chest, the pattern mismatch on the ears to represent feelings of confusion, as well as a postictal headache.

Epilepsy Rabbit Set Includes:

1x Super Soft Rabbit - measures Approx. 57cm (22 inches) from tip of ears to toes

1x Sturdy Tote Bag - measures 38cm x 33cm (15in x 13in)

IMPORTANT NOTE Regarding the design of our mental health-related Plushie Dreadfuls. We take the topics of mental health and mental health awareness seriously. That's why our design team only creates plushies related to mental health issues with which they have direct experience. In cases where our team does not have direct experience, we assemble an external team of experts to help guide our creative process. In addition, we use Crowd Design to engage a wide range of voices via platforms like Instagram and Facebook. We gather and respond to feedback from our audience - many of whom have direct experience with the mental health issues we're exploring. And while we strive to represent as many aspects of a particular mental health issue as possible while avoiding stereotypical symptoms, we hope you understand that plush toys as an artistic medium do limit the full expression of a particular issue to those things that can be crafted in fabric and stitching.

My New Understanding Friend Has Arrived!

This is Nigma, my new stuffy, and He is fantastic, more than I dared to expect.

Momma called me her Enigma when I had a big problem with sleepwalking. ‘Theyre calling me’ I told her one time.

So, this is Me in the plush!

It could not be better. I had a seizure this week, and it was good to wake up with a friend close by.

Very Soft and Touchable!

Thanks so much for this!

Represents epilepsy well

Got this as a gift, since I have been struggling with epilepsy for many years. I haven't yet found meds that are working for me, and because of that I've been very discouraged and down recently. Therefore, this was such a pleasent surprise when I got it. I still have my seizures, and while I am seizing during the night at least this little bunny is there with me :,) Originally I wasn't the biggest fan of the colors of the bunny, but the more I look at it I notice more and more details that just represents epilepsy so well. Would also be cool if EEG equipment or pills would be put on the bunny somehow, but im still very happy with it. I hope you'll make more versions of each disorder in the future, I'll definitely buy them all then! This makes me feel less alone in a way. Am definitely going to buy more for myself or as gifts, very happy with the product!

So soft and pettable

I have epilepsy and after seeing it's pre-prpduction art, I fell in love with this rabbit. I got it to keep by me when I sleep as an ironic way to keep myself safe from seizures while I sleep (nocturnal epilepsy.) It's so soft and sometimes I'll pet it's ears because it reminds me of my cat.
