Hello, Mr. McGee, I have been a big fan of your work on Alice and other projects ever since 2011 and that same year, I was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease. I have been living with it for 12 years. While it is good to see some representation for people with colostomies in this rabbit, an option would be nice to not have the ostomy on the bunny since not every Crohn’s patient gets that procedure done or even needs to, I’ve known many people including myself who have not gotten a colostomy, some people have a “j pouch” internal surgery done where the afflicted part of the intestine is removed and healthy sections are reattached without need for an external ostomy, and others (how I handle mine) just handle it with daily medication.
In short, having one option with the colostomy and one without, perhaps focusing on the stomach problems and perhaps the joint pain would work if not maybe the having the ostomy be removable (perhaps as a magnetic attachment or be attached with velcro would work.
Thank you for listening, and I hope you have a pleasant rest of your day.
