They say old Blueplaid once loved so fiercely that the sea itself grew jealous and dragged him under, lashing him to an anchor with rope and ruin. Down he sank through fathoms of forgotten valentines and waterlogged whispers, his plaid heart torn open, his button eye fixed upon the vanishing light above. Any lesser bun would have perished in that briny dark. But Blueplaid? He simply held his breath, unpicked his own stitches, and sewed himself free. He rose to the surface clutching a bottle, and inside it, a letter from a stranger who had also loved and lost and lived to tell of it. "Well then," he said, wringing saltwater from his scarf, "that makes two of us, doesn't it."

From that day forth, Blueplaid sailed the Seas of Love aboard vessels of his own peculiar making. Every bottle that bobbed past his bow, he fished from the waves and cracked open with trembling paws. Every letter inside, he unfolded and read aloud to the gulls and the moon. And from every letter, he folded a boat. Boats of apology. Boats of longing. Boats of the unspeakable, ridiculous, magnificent things people write when they believe no one will ever read them. His fleet numbered in the hundreds, each one a confession made seaworthy, and he captained them all with the solemn absurdity of a pirate who refuses to plunder anything but hope.

If you have ever written a letter you were too afraid to send, know this: it found its way to water, and Blueplaid found it there. He read every word. He wept a little (for he is, above all things, a hopeless case). And then he folded it into a boat and sailed on, searching for the heart that wrote it. He is searching still. He will always be searching. That is the curse and the gift of the Dread Bun Pirate, who loved so terribly that even the sea could not keep him, and who sails forever toward a shore he has never seen but believes in completely.

Shipping and Tracking
We offer FREE shipping to most locations in the world on orders over $60 USD on select products.

**Update – April 2025**
Due to newly imposed tariffs by the U.S. government, the shipping fee for parcels to the United States is now based on weight and starting at a minimum of $15 USD. This fee includes all applicable taxes and import duties, ensuring that no additional charges will be incurred by customers upon delivery.

Free Shipping for the USA is now only for orders over $200 USD in total.

We will continue to monitor the situation and adjust shipping rates accordingly should any changes in trade policies allow for a reduction in costs.

Some items are provided by a third party (indicated on product page) who control the shipping fees and therefore cannot be included in the free shipping.

For orders less than $60 USD, we apply a flat rate shipping cost based on weight: Less than 1lbs (0.45kg) = $9 USD; Greater than 1lbs (0.45kg) = $15 USD (Remote and hard to ship to countries, including but not limited to Iceland and Mexico, have a flat rate of $15 USD)

Your order is shipped directly from our locations in Shanghai and Shenzhen, China through a logistics center in Hong Kong and via e-packet mail services like USPS, DHL, and EMS.

Delivery time depends on global events, delivery location, and time of year, with 3 weeks being typical and some situations requiring 2~4+ weeks once shipped.

Please note that once shipped, we have no control over the shipping companies or global logistics slowdowns and delays, and you may potentially see lengthy delivery times and large gaps in tracking movement. Gaps of a week (or more) are unfortunately quite possible especially on international shipping. Local and International holidays, global events, weather, and other "Acts of God" can also create unexpected delays in shipping.

All packages are insured and tracked. And you will receive a tracking number via email when your order is handled and shipped. Tracking number emails often go into Spam Folders - please check yours.

If any item is lost during shipping (not including handling time), meaning there is no sort of tracking update for 4 weeks or more, we will refund your purchase and shipping costs. Because we hand process all orders, handling times can be impacted by our traveling or local holidays.
