Introducing the gold version of our Autism Rabbit, for those that prefer more muted tones and the gold infinity symbol vs the rainbow!

In a quiet glade where the golden light of late afternoon stretches like silk across the grass, a gentle soul sits, watching the world not head-on but from the corner of their eye. The Autism Spectrum Disorder Rabbit Gold Edition is a plushie unlike any other, made not only with care but with quiet knowing.

Soft in hue and warm to the touch, this little companion speaks in silences and soft gestures. With its long, dappled ears and hesitant gaze, it invites a different kind of magic, not the kind that shouts, but the kind that hums softly beneath the surface, waiting for someone who sees.

Its posture is modest and guarded, yet still brave. This bunny is a mirror for those who feel deeply and express it gently. It carries the kind of strength that builds slowly over time, the resilience of showing up in a world that can feel too loud, too fast, too much.

Holding it feels like holding a moment of stillness. The kind where you're understood without needing to explain. The kind where being different is not a flaw, but a form of beauty that glows like hidden gold beneath the surface.

If you’ve ever longed for a companion who understands the unspoken, who welcomes you exactly as you are, this bunny waits for you. Not in a rush, but with patience, hope, and the quiet promise of true belonging.

Please note that despite having Autism Spectrum Rabbit listed also in our Mental Health section, we recognize that for many, the disabilities associated with autism come mainly from being an autistic/neurodiverse person in a predominantly allistic/neurotypical world.

Autism itself is not a disorder or a disease - it's a natural human diversity - but it can come with a lot of extra struggles including social difficulties, depression, anxiety, and even physical health problems.

It is our hope that one day the world will be better suited and accepting to all neurotypes, and we can all work together to help that happen by supporting each other however we can. That might mean pursuing therapy or making environmental accommodations, but our collective goal is to build a place to be our authentic selves around. No matter how we get there, our charge is to respect one another's needs and choices.

IMPORTANT NOTE Regarding the design of our mental health-related Plushie Dreadfuls. We take the topics of mental health and mental health awareness seriously. That's why our design team only creates plushies related to mental health issues with which they have direct experience. In cases where our team does not have direct experience, we assemble an external team of experts to help guide our creative process. In addition, we use Crowd Design to engage a wide range of voices via platforms like Instagram and Facebook. We gather and respond to feedback from our audience - many of whom have direct experience with the mental health issues we're exploring. And while we strive to represent as many aspects of a particular mental health issue as possible while avoiding stereotypical symptoms, we hope you understand that plush toys as an artistic medium do limit the full expression of a particular issue to those things that can be crafted in fabric and stitching.

Lovely plushie

I am so happy with this new version of the autism bunny. I went through a major ordeal receiving this one because my first package was stolen at delivery. Customer service was amazing and gave me a refund while I waited for my new plush to arrive. I was so relieved and overjoyed when this little guy came safe and sound. Now I keep him on my bed and I like feeling the raised circles on his ears. This plushie is definitely worth it!

Good Bunbun (self-modified)

(Read this fully before judging this bunny based off my photos)

My initial impressions were good! I got the magnet-less version that came with the gold autism bag and unexpectedly a free random pen as well. I very much appreciate the pen!

I was honestly hoping for the bubbles in the ears to be firmer, but as it turns out they are completely hollow and can even kind of "go inside themselves" similarly to a push pop bubble fidget toy, just without the pop. This is only slightly disappointing for me, but I'm okay with it and overall love the bunny. It is super soft!

As for the arms... Something didn't feel right about them for me and I decided to take the risk of cutting them off. Luckily, there is already stitching between the torso and the base of the arms, so no fluff would be lost by doing this. And honestly, I really love it this way! I personally like it much better without the arms.

A wonderful little guy!!

I got the second batch version with the magnetic paw and canvas bag and I am obsessed! I have been wanting an autism bunny for years now, but I wasn't a fan of the color palette. However, I am obsessed with this one. The fur they used for the body is extremely soft and can be petted in any direction without going against the grain and feeling "incorrect". The dot minky ears was a genius design move because they provide an intriguing texture and appearance, but ALSO pop in and out similar to a pop it, which is super calming for me.

The fur is so plush in fact, that it took me 2 days of snuggling with this guy to notice HE HAS EYEBROWS! The photos don't show it and they are covered by the fur, but I thought that was a wonderful little detail and was amused to discover them. I very carefully trimmed away the surrounding fur so they would be visible, and now he's even more adorable!

The canvas bag included is very high quality and measures about 12 inches by 14 inches. I love the design a lot more in person than I thought I would. The photos don't show it and my phone can't capture it, but the highlights on the bunny like the eyes, ears, paws have a gold shimmer! The same goes for the infinity symbol on the back, and it's beautiful in sunlight. I plan to store my fidgets in the bag since it's fitting.

The only flaw I had on my plushie was a few loose threads on the iris reflections on the eye. Those were able to be easily tucked or trimmed away and you would never notice…

Amazing

I got this plushie because I'm autistic and it's amazing: Super soft, the ears can actually HUG you and it's overall great quality.

I would have loved if it was bigger, because I can't sleep with it (I'm a big person, so it feels really small in my arms compared to the big squishmallows I'm used to), but that's just me and it doesn't affect the rating. ¡Great plushie!

Bought for CRPS

I have written this review because I love this bunny, I respect that he's been made to represent ASD and this review is in no way intended to disrespect people with ASD.

I've recently purchased your new Gold ASD Bunny (mine came without the magnets that cover the mouth with the hands. The website was very clear that my Bunny wouldn't have magnets and because I'm using this bunny for a different condition I'm very happy that the hands don't have magnets) because to me he represents CRPS so well with the orange infinity sign (CRPS is the orange ribbon and we are in pain all the time, the infinity symbol), his hands are walls to show putting up or guards to hide our pain from everyone, he's incredibly soft and soothing to hold (allodynia safe) with the Fiddle bubble material in the inner ears (CRPS requires a huge amount of distraction and aids to help cope with the pain). The only thing missing from the ASD Gold Bunny that would make it perfect for CRPS is scars, tired eyes, a tear drop and possibly, as others have mentioned regarding the Chronic Pain Bunny, a zipper with a pill bottle/ bandage/ heat pack etc.. Even the brown colour of the bunny with the orange inner ears (which represents fire to me), the eyes looking away, to me, is symbolisation of being or feeling ignored by the medical profession and the little orange dots in his eyes represents the strength and resilience as well as the fire we feel in our bodies, is perfect for CRPS.

So I know you didn't make the Gold…
