Masking refers to the process by which autistic individuals consciously or unconsciously suppress or hide their autistic traits and behaviors to fit in with societal norms and expectations. This can involve mimicking neurotypical behaviors, suppressing stimming (self-stimulatory behaviors), and attempting to manage sensory sensitivities to appear more socially acceptable.

Great bun !
one of my favourite plushie dreadful buns (so far)! as always - ridiculous soft, great quality, and perfect for cuddling. design is thoughtful and fitting for masking, the little masks are a great touch. also adorable as just a little suit wearin clown-sorta cutie ! a great buddy for anyone, especially anyone who deals with the struggles of masking :) (little masks come a little crunckled but smooth out easy by letting ur bun wear them for a bit !)
