EDS is a group of inherited disorders that mostly affect the skin, joints, and blood vessels. Ehlers-Danlos syndrome affects connective tissue, primarily the skin, joints, and blood vessel walls.

Symptoms can include overly flexible joints that can dislocate, and skin that's translucent, elastic, and bruises easily. In some cases, there may be dilation and even rupture of major blood vessels. There are many different types of Ehlers Danlos Syndrome but this particular plush is meant to represent hEDS (Hypermobility Syndrome)

The hEDS Rabbit design was arrived at via our Crowd Design Process. And this design quickly became our most sought-after, with thousands of fans signing up for pre-sale notifications. That being said, some in our community would prefer a more zebra-like pattern - and we may explore this idea with future versions.

Note that this plush is extremely flexible and pose-able. The legs and ears are connected and can be pushed and pulled through the body to create an infinite number of pose combinations.

HEDS Rabbit Set Includes:

1x Plush Rabbit - measures 68cm (26in) from tip of ears to toes

1x Totebag - measures 33x39cm (13x15in)

 Symbolism:

Zebra Pattern for Ehlers Danlos awareness

Long Stretchy Limbs for joint hyper mobility

Purplish color around eyes for extreme tiredness and easy bruising

Gloriously wiggly

He sits well! His feet are weighted, and it reminds me of one of the questions my doctor asked me when diagnosing my hEDS - if my limbs felt particularly heavy at all. You can pull his legs and ears to lengthen one or the other. His skin is velvety unlike other Dreadfuls, and he's overall just very fun to look at. The tote has a kind of fishy smell to it, which I've run into with screen-printing before, so I didn't dock any stars for that. Just toss it in the wash if you run into that. The smell didn't transfer to the bun.

Best gift I've ever gotten

my boyfriend bought me this little guy. The attention to detail brought me to tears, between the super soft material, the purple around the eyes, the weighted limbs, adjustable legs, he's just perfect. I know he's meant to have longer ears bit I think he looks a bit more like me with long dangling legs. He's going to come with me to all my doctors visits and all my medical stuff will live in those tote bag

I love my baby I named them Pingo and I am obsessed with the velvety texture of the fabric that matches how soft hypermobility can make the skin, and i love how bouncy he is and that his little peets are weighted and I love to clack them togethor <3 my absolute favorite bought plushie that I have right now I even Made them a necklace and everything, and always take tons of pics, wonderful work on the design I even ordered a second one for my sister! Cute but not my favourite

So I bought this with my two other buns (and my adhd one that I had <3) but the texture was kinda unexpected and a bit waxy? Also yk when a fabric is smooth on one side but really weird oneee you stroke it the wrong way? Well the legs are exactly that and it’s kinda uncomfortable cause it’s going up, not down but I can maybe get used to it. Also the head looks a bit squished which I didn’t like but I love how weighted it is and super cuddle able!! Definitely ups and downs but still my child <3

Bunny

I got him as a present from a friend after geting my diagnose, he is soft and his body is firm.

Sometimes he is short and chubby and sometimes he have legs for days. Best of all is when it looks like he has his hair (ears) in a up do "after the shower"
