Excoriation disorder also known as "dermatillomania" is a body focused repetitive behavior often associated with obsessive compulsive disorder. Sufferers may pick at minor flaws or re-open scabs and wounds. Others during periods of stress may rub the skin off of parts of their body like the forehead or knees.
