Chronic pain is long-lasting pain that persists for weeks, months, or even years. It can continue even after the injury or illness that initially caused it has healed. Unlike acute pain, which is a short-term response to injury, chronic pain lasts beyond the usual recovery period and can occur without an obvious cause. It may stem from conditions such as arthritis, nerve damage, back problems, fibromyalgia, or other health issues.

Chronic pain affects both physical and emotional well-being, often leading to fatigue, sleep disturbances, and mood changes like anxiety or depression. 

Please note that this is only one interpretation of chronic pain based on the experience of the designer. Everyone's chronic pain is different!


 Symbolism:

Alchemical Symbol for pulverize for pain causing you to hyperfocus on other things to the point of lack of self care

Stars for seeing stars and having migraines from pain flares

Spiked bracelets for neuropathy and RSD

Heart Stitch "Planet" chest symbol for heart stress due to constant pain

Castle walls for putting walls up so people do not expect you for spontaneous events or last minute things or trying to rescue you only to exhaust their friendship

Absolutely love this plush!

I removed one of the bracelets to show that it was removable in the photos!!

This bun is so cute and super cuddly! One thing I was concerned about when getting this one was the bracelet being too sharp to cuddle however they are removable so if you want to hold it without the bracelets you can! I love all of the stuff that comes with and I even got a little free pen with it! The tote and plush are adorable can’t wait to get other buns of my other conditions!

Shipping was relatively quick, ordered on the 20th and received it the 31st so within the same month is pretty good especially considering it’s shipping from china to the US.

His name is now Armin he will go everywhere with me now :3

my fibro bunny has been replaced (don’t tell her)

i was having such a tough day and came home and found this in my mailbox and it couldn’t have been more perfect timing, i loooooooove this bunny so so much it made me feel so much better it’s amazing <3 <3 <3 i love the colors, the stars, the little wrist bands, the eyes, the chunky feet; it’s amazing how much it’s helping me mentally/emotionally with my chronic pain, i love it so much <3

Design idea?

Maybe you can put the 18 "pain points" that doctors use to "diagnose" fibro? Or put that on a fibro specific bun. The scraped skin sensation, the subjective swelling when the barometer changes, the anger that drs won't/can't help or prescribe adequate meds...
