Dyscalculia is a specific learning disability that affects a person's ability to understand, learn, and perform math and number-based operations. It is sometimes referred to as "math dyslexia" because it shares similarities with dyslexia, which affects reading skills. However, while dyslexia involves difficulties with reading and language, dyscalculia involves difficulties with math.

That's why our design team only creates plushies related to mental health issues with which they have direct experience. In cases where our team does not have direct experience, we assemble an external team of experts to help guide our creative process.
