The Mayo Clinic defines schizophrenia as "... a serious mental disorder in which people interpret reality abnormally. Schizophrenia may result in some combination of hallucinations, delusions, and extremely disordered thinking and behavior that impairs daily functioning, and can be disabling."
The Schizophrenia Rabbit Set is the result of our Crowd Design process on platforms such as Instagram and TikTok. During that process, we asked members of our community who experience schizophrenia to contribute design ideas that led to the plush rabbit you see presented here. It includes themes such as "word salad" and little buns stored in the head to represent intrusive thoughts.

IMPORTANT NOTE Regarding the design of our Plushie Dreadfuls. We take these topics seriously. That's why our design team only creates plushies related to issues with which they have direct experience. In cases where our team does not have direct experience, we assemble an external team of experts to help guide our creative process. In addition, we use Crowd Design to engage a wide range of voices via platforms like Instagram and Facebook. We gather and respond to feedback from our audience - many of whom have direct experience with the issues we're exploring. I cried so hard. I love him
I have bought 3 plushies from here. And I've wanted to get this one ever since I found this store. I finally got him today and I hugged him and cried so hard. It is like this thing understands me, everything is just so accurate with his meanings it hit really hard. I've never met anyone with my disorder so I feel like I have a friend who knows what I've gone through. He is so soft, I love all the textures, the zip head is amazing and he's just amazing. Thank you to whoever created this. Thank you so much.

love this weird little dude
I’ve had my schiz bun for nearly 2years now, I love it tons, so glad they brought this version back !
he’s a lil weirdo and (in my experience) being seen as a lil weird is part of being on the schizophrenic spectrum, so I love that this bun is so unique in its shape and facial features ! the eyes are my fav of any of my buns, and petting his scruffy hair is a good sensory stim. mini word salad buns are adorable an surprisingly squishy and soft, so also make great little stim friends (pocket sized !)
overall a great cuddle bud, represents schizophrenia well and validates all the cool lil weirdos out there that live with it !

I love him
I've had my Schizophrenia rabbit plush for over a year now, and I love him very much! I treat him like he's my son. It's a shame he's no longer available, as he perfectly encapsulates my diagnosis. I think the plush has done a great job at representing a very serious and misunderstood mental health disorder, and I feel like I'm not alone since having him.
Overall a wonderful plush, I hope to see it come back someday and maybe even get some accessories with it. :)
