Just as expected!
Ouchie arrived! Well, this Ouchie’s name is Coret :) and she’s a girl. I identified with her right away both from her appearance and from the description. I have battled with a genetic disorder and disability since birth but didn’t get diagnosed until I was 29 years old. I’ve spent a great deal of my time in clinics and hospitals, so when I saw Ouchie I immediately felt drawn to her. She brings out nurturing feelings in me. I just knew I had to have her.
Ouchie seems to be of very good quality, very well made. Despite her injured appearance (due to being covered in bandages), she’s not fragile at all and I feel comfortable interacting with her without any concern that I could damage her. I LOVE that her fur is super soft, particularly her ears and extremities. The eye bandage is non-removable, for anyone who’s wondering, though you can remove it easily by undoing the stitch there is only one stitch that holds it in place on each side so if you wanted to I believe you could easily remove it without damaging the plushie, if you want to for some reason. Also, I wish her belly was a little squishier, it’s a bit too firm for my taste, but maybe that’s just one of her many medical afflictions, haha.
The only downside was the delivery time. I live in New England. I ordered August 23rd and she arrived September 9th. However on that same day I also ordered other plushie dreadfuls and two of those arrived much earlier and through a new different partner that they have and they…
