Cushing's syndrome is where your body makes too much stress hormone (cortisol)
It is a progressive illness that leads to weight gain, extreme tiredness, and high blood pressure which can be quite dangerous over prolonged periods. A telltale sign that appears with Cushing's are the bright purple tiger stripes (stretch marks) on the abdomen.
Many people struggle to lose weight, and end up with further stress as they are told to lose weight for health (or treated as if the weight is the cause), but cannot due to the illness itself. Stress with Cushing's can further exacerbate the illness and even lead to a person's death. Kindness first!

I have four of these amazing plushies in my collection now and this one is no exception in quality- as a person who grew up in love with American McGee's Alice videogames I'm so happy to be able to buy these awesome collectable rabbits in support. The Cushing's syndrome bunny is impossibly soft, her big butt is so define and hilarious, the tote bag that came with it is just so cool, and my order even came with some stickers. I'm so excited for the next two bunnies I have coming in the mail!
