This has been one of the best purchases in the last few years. And I am not saying this because it is a nice object, but because it has been genuinely helpful to me.
I know any decision coin, or any coin for that matter could potentially perform the same function as this admittedly expensive coin.
Practically, the aesthetic, the philosophy behind it, and the rules of use added a lot of gravitas and magic to it. It means that you tend to treat the result seriously, and it works much better than anything else you would decide to use as a decision-making object.
There is also a difference between the traditional use of a decision coin, and the one recommended in the instructions here. Traditionally often you flip the coin to have it decide things for you. This is not the way you do things here - in this version, you flip the coin to realise how you feel about the decision, and which option you prefer- hence you are free to go with the choice given by the coin, or against it.
I never thought I'd need or use a decision coin until I saw it on this website and felt that having an object reminding me of the limited time I have on earth would be beneficial to me, but hesitated for a long time due to the cost.
Once I got it, I run a few important questions that I have been undecided about for months through it, and since then it stands on my shelf in its display box, reminding me of time passing, and waiting for the next time I might need to use it.
