Visual snow is a rare neurological condition characterized by tiny flickering dots or static, much like the "snow" on an old television screen, that appear across the entire field of vision. These dots can be black, white, colored, or transparent and are constantly present.
It has been more recently linked to tinnitus and migraines, though the exact cause is unknown.

    • i have it too and this comment section is amazing because i can’t believe how many people are in the same boat and have skmilar issues. i had a strange reaction to a multivitamin which then gave me basically a night-long panic attack, then the issue just never went away and it took 2 months off work and many visits to figure out that VSS exists :’) worst year of my life so far but hopefully it will get better again, your comment almost made me cry because one lf the saddest things for me is not being able to marvel at the blue sky and clouds any more :( reading sometimes causes headaches too and its a huge hobby of mine.

    • I wish it had more representation of the migraine connection. Mine is always related to migraines and would love to see it representated.

    • I think the eyes and the inside of the ears should be that static pattern for the visual symptoms and the tinnitus. I think darker colors would be better overall my visual snow is much more apparent in the dark. it visually looks like grey tv static over my vision.

    • I personally do not like the choice of colors for the body. They should be a colder and more ashy shade, like; gray, blue, grey, white, pale red, pale blue.

There should also maybe be a reference to the infamous little ‘floaters’ people see during visual snow. Maybe add those inside the ears in the form of patterns?

    • Maybe less vibrant colors and more statics (could for example be extended on the fur or inside of the ears? Would represent well the tinnitus commorbidity too)
I’d add more details, considering the fact visual snow “adds” a lot to the vision. Maybe a darker design (personally my visual snow is much more intense in the dark)
