Trichotillomania, also known as "Hair pulling disorder" is a disorder that involves an irresistible urge to pull out one's own hair, eyebrows etc. People with trich may go to great lengths to cover up the hair pulling, including wigs, hats, and other head coverings, and suffer pain or discomfort from the bald spots that result from this condition.

Version 3 of this design now includes a removable wig attached with Velcro to the top of the head.
