Love my little guy - with a few caveats!
I'll start with the negative. Ironically enough, the OCD bunny is setting off my OCD. Mysterious claims all their plushies are hand made and that there will be variations between them, which of course in my mind lets me give some leeway, but the problems are definitely there. Limbs and ears aren't equally stuffed, there's a single red stitch on the wrong side of one of the embroidered cuts, material near the neck is bunched up a little... it's all very small things that add up. The worst for me personally is that he shipped with his mask on... which has left some rather slight, yet assumedly permanent indent marks across his face. And following that thread... what's with the shipping times? I had assumed these would be shipped from the US, being hand made and all, but instead they come from China and take weeks to arrive... the cynical part of me wants to say that in reality, these are possibly mass-produced in Chinese factories, and any claims of being hand produced are only to handwave quality issues and mark up their price tag. I don't feel like they'd outright lie about their manufacturing process, but being made in China does inevitably bring about several human ethics questions, especially with such an outwardly pro-diversity company. I could be wrong; I hope I am really, and I apologize if so. I just don't know enough to know for sure.
And now, for the pawsitive... the bottom line is you won't find similar designs elsewhere. These guys are just as cool as they are…
