I'd like to see maybe the pain scale in the lining of the ears? Or maybe a pain scale chart torn in two? Fighting like hell to get your pain prescriptions filled is a common experience I think most of us share, along with the experience of being shamed for needing meds (since for some terrible reason our culture seems to see ignoring pain as a virtue and being in need of pain management as a personal failing). I'm trying to think if a visual representation of these, but it's not coming to me just yet…I love the heating pad idea that has been suggested. It would be so cute if he had one with a wee little cord and controller. Physical therapy is a constant reality, too, but again that's something I'd have to think a bit on how to represent that visually. Canes for walking are a common need.

i absolutely agree with u!! i have fibromyalgia and this bun would be more than perfect if it was purple. it matches the chronic pain colour-wheel and it would bring a lot of people suffering from it some comfort. i’m so excited to see the end result!

i don't want hardly anything to change. i think its perfect and i love the starry leg! that being said, i would maybe make the seagreen slightly bluer and the pink a little redder. red often depicts frustration and can be symbolic of the frustration of a chronic pain sufferer

Agree but not purple, makes me think of Cancer. But Grey and green 💚

Definitely not purple, makes me think of kids Cancer or Fibro. Green is fine, as makes you think you feeling off colour. Red better for max’d out pain levels, for infuriating friends/family thst continuously don’t understand the pain and torture you go thru everyday just to get out of bed some days, let alone co-exist. Maybe mixed with a dark grey or black as we are a shadow of out former selves and often also live in the shadows so we aren’t a burden to our love ones and sometimes the pains and thoughts do get to much and we do sink into the blackness. Its our fellow suffers that are our light. Suggest pins and needles symbols for the pins and needles/numbness and insect crawling sensations we feel, maybe in a nice bright yellow stitching, also lightening bolts for stabbing pains on top on normal 1s, probably on every joint. Cloud ☁️ on forehead for brainfog we live under and a crack of thunder for migraines. Huge sad, sleepy eyes with waves underneath to mark for severe lack of sleep due to pain and insomnia. I agree with what everyone said about hot water bottle, I have 1 on my now and have 2 at bedtime, even in middle of summer as my muscle spasms are so severe. I also liked to idea about the walls on the hands, as my muscles are lock solid in spasms.

I feel like if the fur was “less smooth”…not less soft, just “frizzy”. It would help represent the constant feeling of the electrocuting pain or the constant need to focus so you don’t start trembling from the pain.

I have nothing more to suggest. I find this bunny perfect, I love it !

Some fab comments! :)
I’d prefer a darker colourway, purple through to darkish blue? Constant pain makes me sad and tired, yearning for sleep which evades me which feels dark blue for me. The dark purple bunny is a more comforting colour, and the phase from purple to blue would show how draining pain can be, while still being soothing and uplifting colours.
I think the silver tinsel in the paws is a fab idea as that resonates with my tingling hands. I’d even go for some crackling sounds too (like some cat toys have) as my hands sometimes crackle with little zaps. My sharp pain is like bright white lightening so I’d vote for silver lighting images for that.
I love the stars and the spikes, which I see as inner power to fight the pain. I like the rings round the eye for tiredness, but perhaps the addition of some dark pink (pale red) liner round the eye would help further illustrate exhaustion.
Great design but please don’t make the bun orange… It’s such a triggering colour for many peeps…
Oh and yep, I agree that bunny needs a blanket and/or a hot water bottle, and maybe a pocket to slip a hand warmer in for some comforting warmth! :)
